Lucy passed away after a very sudden and short illness from a very rare life-threatening condition called hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), which affects just 1 in 1.2million people. It is caused by an overactive and abnormal response of the immune system resulting in the body attacking its own healthy cells.
We would like to raise awareness of and much-needed funds for the research and early diagnosis of HLH. If we can help prevent just one other person and their family and friends going through what we have all been through, we know Lucy would be grateful.
HistioUK is the only UK charity set up to raise awareness inside and outside of the medical profession. Funds are used for research projects into earlier diagnosis and treatment for HLH.

Lucy left Stadium MK on Thursday the 16th of June at 13.30 on her journey to a private funeral service, she was waved and clapped off by an amazing number of friends, family and MK Dons fans xxxx
